Ok, so I am already thinking about summer
Posted: Thu Dec 03, 2009 5:22 pmThe north wind at lincoln beach, the smooth water, the grassy launch and land area, the shaded benches where I could sit and wait for the evening ride, and wait, I almost forgot...the mosquitoes.
I know this is a little ahead of schedule, but I found out about a government funded Utah county mosquito abatement association, and I am pretty sure we could sick them on Lincoln with a properly worded message. I don't know if it has been attempted before or if there are concerns from the community or anything like that so I figured I would open it up for comments before making a decision that would affect our whole community of dedicated wind riders. I bring this up now because I am sure that the "mosquito busters" will probably write next years schedule this year. Writing this message also took me away from my daydreams about a time with slightly better conditions than we are presently experiencing.
Anyways, let me know what you think.
