Trevor and Troy Dubock are burning up the Wasatch, could use some data on Fairview area for all day trekking, skiing. They have about 84 days this year, all in the backcountry, keep looking at maps of Tushers, Meadow, Spanish Fork and could use some ideas...thanks

Not too many options for long steep runs on the Wasatch Plateau above Fairview, but plenty of short steep sections. If there is no wind at Skyline there are plenty of short tours leading to quick but fun powder pockets... basically follow a cornice line out and hope that avy conditions are solid.
Nebo, across the valley from Fairview, provides epic backcountry descents that are more worthy of gravity powered boarding.

The Book, Back Country Skiing in Utah by Tyson Bradley covers it all. My suggestion would be Mt Nebo, excellent in Spring, Northwest Chutes. Also an Extended trip into the Tushars, Mt Holly and Delano Peak have awesome skiing all around them. WG
