Hey a question to all those stange enough to want to sail in a parking lot.
I want to build a street surfer for the e-center parking lot. I know that some of you out there are doing this and can you advise of how not to rip all the skin off my body in on rolling peel of flesh

I have numerous old board and a newer mountian board . But the newer board is only 4' long. I feel like to move the sail and mimic the" feeling of pulling off a jibe" laughable, but still possible.
I have lots of time and materials , tools.
But the carve board is great but the price.
i see tight truck and mabey some footroom = sucess, could i be wrong?

Hey Scott, I have several different street sailer boards....one that I bought, that has 10 tires, and two that I built myself, with large atx type wheels, and a 4 foot deck that I like much better. If you would like to try any of them out for ideas, give me a call eight O one-209-4315 and I'll meet up with you and let you try some different boards/wheels. We've had many fun sessions at the ECenter overflow lot. It takes very little wind, and you can really get cruising around. It will help your gybes a ton. I can even pull off pretty good duck gybes there. Learning to ride on the backwind side, can be fun....you can do full circles without moving your feet. Helmet, knee guards, elbow guards are a must!
