Big surprise in Windsurfing event!
3rd place - Billy Bordy
2nd place - Josh Shirley
1st place - Bob LeGault

Lots of finishers in the SUP races. I will get the list from Rebecca Stone of Utah Stand Up Paddleboards.

We decided to move the windsurfing venue to Barb Wire Beach to use the kiters triangle course.
Both Bob and I used long boards to navigate the course with Bob winning each heat. I guess I need an 11m to keep up.

For me the long board thing was new but interesting to be able to tack up wind so rapidly. Most of the time we could hit each mark on a single reach. The top mark was about 1/2 mile up wind from the start.

Billy borrowed my rig for a quick go at it but unfortunetaly had a DNF. So by default he took third.

Congratulations Bob, your home town windsurfing roots shown through on your equip.

Kiteboarders were taking a second stab at the course today (Sunday.) So maybe we will get some results later.

Good thing we had emergency rescue crews around.

I got a pretty good chuckle out of those results... Josh, you should have unleashed the "head fan"... And slipped a fin clam on Bob's fin... Then I think you could have taken it...

Saturday I sailed a 4.2 down at Powell... We should've had it down there. ... The on-going challenge of our sport's events... Wind... Looks like there was some wind though... Were there any kiting results?
