Headed to north dan diego for thanksgiving. Im very familiar w the various surf breaks but I am womdering if there are good kite spots. Or if anyone knows a good wind forcast link? Thanks

San Diego is not a very windy place. The only time they get moderate wind is the day or two after a storm (clearing winds). Most of the time you will need a big kite/big board combo. I use ikitesurf. Wind finder is also a good bet. I have kited at Silver Strand Beach several times. It is a beautiful location with a wide open beach. Hope you get some good wind. This time of year, you will want to take a full length 3 mil wetsuit. Have fun!
