3/11 Skyline

Postby BrianArmstrong » Sat Mar 11, 2006 10:42 pm

Arrived at about noon with no other kiters in site. Winds were S / SE about 5-10mph when we first arrived, then within the hour getting to about 10-15.

There were a couple other kiters from the bay area. I think they come to Skyline every other weekend. There were two that I saw.

The snow was great, at least a good 6" of new powder if not more. The visibility was not good! Mostly cloudy with some snow falling, so basically no shadows and tough to see the terrain. Decent day, just wishing for one of those epic days as described by Brian S.
