Craig's all Hallows end of the Season Forecast

Postby Craig Goudie » Tue Oct 31, 2017 8:48 am

Greetings and welcome to my traditional end of the season forecast. Wind today is not too promising,
though there is potential for Kiteable conditions at Pineview in the 14M range from 1 until 4. Sulfur will
have 6M sail conditions today, but up there it's cold (like max 49 degrees air temps). Do not
despair for wind though, because tomorrow, strong winds are coming.

11/1, look for a Poppins day at Sulfur Creek with sail sizes that may get down below 4M Noon until
5, and air temps that approach 65 degrees. Be prepared for gusty wind and cold cold water!. DC with
gusty 6/12M PM wind and air temps near 65 as it clouds up later in the afternoon. Probably get some rides
in the 7/14M range at Willard PM also.

11/2 Yet another planable DC day with air temps the low 60s, and Sulfur with similar. How often
have I closed the forecast out with a day at Sulfur where you're not going to die, not too bad.

And just like that, it's time to look for my skis (and do a little video editing). Hopefully the forecasts
have at least been entertaining if not always accurate. As I always say, there are a usually a couple of
good days in November for wind powered liquid water sports (and you're looking at a couple right now).
Maybe I'll see you in the canyons. Enjoy
