Craig's Where to Ride 3/22

Grantsville was the place yesterday, and it hung in all day long. This morning Grants is smokin,
but it will die off (and then switch North) in the PM. Till then, take your small cloth and brave
the cold. Rush looks like it'll continue the South until Noon also for gusty 12M Kite action, but
when it switches North out there. It'll do so with a vengeance, and you'd be well advised to
hide out on the beach and then grab your trainer Kite. Then you'll have to hard core it through
the rain and dangerously low water. By 1 PM UL launches should turn North and probably be
in the 8M Kite range till dark with steadier winds, but lots of rain and cold on the East launches.
Windsurfers could get rain rides in the 5M range on the West side at SSP (Saratoga Springs Park). Willard's web cam shows some amazing ice chunks flowing as a result of the wind yesterday,
to me that looks ridiculously dangerous (and I'm not that moderate), so don't be stupid
about that. Where ever you go, be prepared for the air temp to drop dramatically and the rain to hit on the North switch.

Tomorrow very cold North wind at UL launches all day in the 6.5/12 range with rain showers.

Tuesday Planable North under continued cold but sunny skys at UL.

I was at Willard yesterday afternoon and all the ice had shifted north so there was no place to ride. It will probably be better to wait till it's finally melted.
