Where to Snowkite 3/27 - 1 PM Update

Wind is excellent at Strawberry right now (20+ mph)

Strawberry and Skyline both look rideable today. Wind will be light - probably 10 -15 at Strawberry and around 15 at Skyline. If you have a snowmobile, the upper ridges are going to have solid wind (20 mph +). Snow surface will be solid in places and pure fluff in others, the strong wind yesterday blew snow into the lee areas so the surface is going to be mixed under partly cloudy skies.

Saturday is looking like it may be a little lighter than today. Both Strawberry and Skyline look like low-teens possibly mid-teens. Looks like another good day for sled owners as the higher ridge lines will be rocking. Big kites and boards at Strawberry and Skyline. Surface will be a bit softer with warmer air temps under partly cloudy skies.

Sunday looks like a crazy day. The front that is approaching appears to be very energetic, so it will be nuking south winds and snow followed by nuking north winds and snow. Looks like it may be another whiteroom day. Monday is looking like another Strawberry day.
