4/10 Craig's Where to Ski

Postby Craig Goudie » Sun Apr 10, 2011 8:01 am

With the highest Snow Pack in the last 30 years, and the coldest April 9th low temp in history,
the call today is to hit the resorts for some Spring Fling Powder. It's too cold to find liquid rides,
and there's not a lot of wind out there for Snow Kiting (though the surface conditions look pretty
sweet if you find wind). So enjoy those mountains as the sun breaks out this afternoon for some
banner conditions on the snow.

Tomorrow, a mini front bumps the temps up into the low 50s and provides planable wind at Grantsville
AM and DC PM, but there may be a few inches of snow left over at the beach front.

Tuesday, it's back to more rain/snow, and colder air temps, in fact, it looks that way through Thursday.
