6/5 Craig's Where to Ride

Postby Craig Goudie » Tue Jun 05, 2012 8:42 am

South wind in the AM and North wind in the PM. AM South rides at Grantsville in
5M sail range look good until about Noon. Rush has 5.5/10M conditions now and will
switch to solid North winds in the 4/8M range from Noon until about 6PM. DC will be
up early around 11AM, in the 6/12M range, and devolve into strong gusts and
big holes by 2 or 3 PM. Yuba looks promising for some AM rides in the 6/12M range.
UL North winds at Lincoln and Saratoga Springs Park will ramp rapidly around 2 or 3PM,
starting as gusty 5/10M NW winds, but getting steadier, and more Northerly late afternoon
and early evening. Sulfur will have very gusty 6M sail South winds PM. There's a huge blob of moisture tha will wander through the area about 11 AM, be prepared for that, and be prepared
for cooler air temps.

Weds looks like residual North wind at Rush and UL PM in the 7/14M range.

Thursday, pretty windless right now.
