8/10 Craig's Where to Ride

Postby Craig Goudie » Fri Aug 10, 2012 6:42 am

DC looks promising today with potential for 7.5/14M conditions Noon until 5, but T-heads will
pop this afternoon and either enhance , or degrade the base winds substantially. Some potential for
8M sail conditions at Grantsville from about 8AM until Noon.

Tomorrow, DC will be up early around 11 AM and pump 7/14M conditions until about 2 when it
will turn really gusty. Then it's time to move to UL South launches where solid 6.5/12M conditions should
be pretty good. Rush will also have 12M condions 2 to 6, if you don't mind the toxicity. Sulfur in the
7M sail range Noon to 5 adds another choice. Again, watch for T-Heads and be smart about your rides.

Sunday, windless.
