12/16 Kenny's Where to Ride

Postby Kenny » Sun Dec 16, 2012 8:58 am

Summary - some nice juicy fronts will be moving over the region today and Tuesday, unleashing some much needed snow.

Looks like a big snow day today at Skyline and PowMow today with impressive amounts of snow in the forecast during the day and tonight. If you are desperate, you might find some rides at PC, but the coverage is sparse, so take your rock skies. Expect wind in the low to mid-teens.

Monday promises clearing at Skyline and plenty of fresh. Wind should be in the mid-teens. Looks like it is shaping up to be an epic day.

Tuesday is looking like another snow day.

Scouted strawberry yesterday, Snow looked thin and we didn't ride. There may be enough snow since last night I am gong to check it later, since SKyline seems like 10 plus inches of snow during the day. There was one spot that was ridable, by the ranger station and road but not much wind.
