2/22 Kenny's Where to Ride

We should see some clearing and good winds today at Skyline and Strawberry with wind in the mid-teens or better.

Saturday is looking tricky. Tonight a warm front is moving into the area which may deposit snow on SW/W favored areas - Skyline and Strawberry are both favored. Then on Saturday a vigorous and fast moving cold front is expected to hit the SLC Valley around noon. It is forecasted to move quickly, but the snow should linger well into the night and possibly into Sunday morning. So, it is going to be a bit of a crap shoot and a timing issue. Best bet is to go early if it is not snowing and ride the strong, gusty pre-frontal winds. You might get lucky and have enough visibility to ride once the front hits, but it will be an absolute blizzard. I would just call it a snow day if the morning window did not exist.

Sunday is looking excellent at Strawberry and Skyline.
