5/1 Craig's Season Opener Starts with a Howl

Greetings and welcome to another season of wind enhanced endorphins,
It's a cold one out there, and dangerously so if you don't have good rubber
gear so take that into consideration. Utah lake is going to be NW 5.0/10 most of
day, with air temps which peak at about 53 Degrees around 2 PM. Expect a pretty
rapid die off after 6 so don't milk it, and be smart about body heat. Rush lake is
rumored to have 3 feet of water in the north end. That's probably enough for North 4.5/9
from about 10 until 4 or 5PM, with similar dangerous air temps. If you get rides out there
please ping me and give me some water depth and launch information. Jordalelle's J-Bay will also
cough up some 6.5/13 NW wind today peaking around 2.

Tomorrow, Rush lake with PM NW 6.5/13 PM and UL with planable NW 8/16 PM. Still cold with
air temps in the low 50s.

Friday, yet another day of planable N wind at UL and Rush as air temps get less dangerous in the low 60s.
