If you look at the IR map you'll notice a swath of
cloud (and rain) free air for a couple of hours is coming.
Catching that right could yield some strong wind fall sailing,
but catching it wrong could mean a long swim in cold conditions.
DC with 6/12 from 11 until 2 is possible before the rain. Air temps
might make 60 around that time. Also, Utah lake with a strong NW
switch around 4 or 5 PM an hour or so before the rain in the 5/10M range and again
air temps in the low 60s. PLease be very aware of your environment as
the North switch will start to drop temps pretty fast. If you are out,
stay safe and head for the beach when you see the next rain storm coming.
Be prepared for wild storm front weather at any location.
Tomorrow Strong NW wind at UL is likely during the rain and possibly some snow
and life threatening cold. Definitely not recommended.
Weds looks windless as the skies dry late in the afternoon and the air temps
barely reach mid 40s.
