8/24 Craig's Storm driven Winds

Erratic, strong and shifty winds abound. I think for windsurfers and wingers
if you keep an eye out you'll probably be OK, but this looks dangerous for Kiters.
So, with reserve, the least likely place to be pummeled by a downdraft, while attempting to
ride the T-head driven storm winds will be Grantsville. because it is a small body of water.
Look for erratic shifty but strong mostly SW 5M sail conditions from early Morning until Noon.
DC might have some wildly gusty 6M sail conditions from 11AM until about 5 or 6 PM. Frankly
I'm not recommending wind powered sports today, because of how unstable the wind could be,
but a lucky cloud wedge could provide a break from the heat and high pressure dome,

Tomorrow, and Monday look very much like today, keep your wits, and watch the horizon.
These cells can bloom up fast.
