11/20 Kenny's Where to Ride

Today promises moderately strong winds at PowMow with wind in the upper-teens to low-twenties. Skyline is promising low-teens.

Wednesday PowMow goes nuclear with wind in the 30's gusting to the 40's. Yes, it will be hateful. Skyline should have gusty south winds in the mid to upper-teens. Wind quality should deteriorate throughout the afternoon as the front approaches.

Thanksgiving Day - well, if you are able to escape crazy relatives and go snowkite - be thankful. Skyline is promising some nice post-frontal north wind in the low to mid-teens. It will be a bit gusty as NW wind always is at Skyline, but it should be a nice day to ride.

As if you need a reminder, the snow quality is still pre-season, so take old skis/boards and watch out for obstacles. It is not a good time to learn how to snowkite.
