4/8 Craig's Where to Risk

Postby Craig Goudie » Mon Apr 08, 2013 9:11 am

Air temps peaking at 50 degrees, rain and possible sleet mixed in, and strong NW wind this evening.
It's pretty risky out there. Look for Rush to have 10M Kite conditions around Noon ramping up to
trainer Kite conditions by dusk, with rain and 70MPH gusts mixed in at Dusk. UL will have slightly less
wind, but will be much gustier, due to the Westerly flow. Probably 4.5/8 by 6PM. Frankly, it's dangerous
out there, or it will be by this evening.

Tomorrow, Rush and UL provide steadier NW winds in the 4.5/8 M range PM, with
some sun peeks, less rain, and air temps maxing out in the high 40s. With a drysuit, at least you might survive.

Weds, looks like no wind, and continued cold.
