The current weather system is too complex for an amateur (like me) to understand fully.
The simple description is that an occluded front is creating pressures that would reverse the
typical DC thermal, but the Jetstream is close enough to counter that. So ..... I'm going with really
gusty 6M sail conditions at Grantsville AM until about 11. Willard bay with gusty 6/12 11 AM until
about 5PM. DC with gusty 7/14 from Noon until 5, Mona with gusty 6/12 1 until 6. UL might get gusty
7/14M conditions from the South from 7 until dusk. Throw in some potential for rain and T-heads, and
I think the wind quality will be pretty poor. The best bet for wind quality is actually Sulfur creek,
(strange I know) because the Jet should couple down better up there, and there'll be less potential
for disruptive t-heads. Could be as good as 5.5 sails up there.
Tomorrow looks like marginal Sulfur Creek 8M sails is about all you can hope for.
Weds, another disturbance gets some planable conditions at DC.
