Where to Ride 1/2

Today is the "warm before the storm".

Skyline should be good with gusty wind in the low 20's on packed snow.

PowMow will have very gusty, strong winds (bordering on dangerous) with snow in the afternoon. Marty pointed out to me that today may be a good day for Monte Cristo, catch it in the AM as snow is moving in later in the day.

Evanston will have strong wind, if you can find any snow pack a small kite, same is true for Rush - both in the upper 20's

Park City should have winds in the upper teens/low 20's this afternoon on packed snow.

Strawberry - not the best wind direction - you can find rides there, but you will have to hunt a bit to find them. My experience is that the wind is light and intermittent on a south at Strawberry.

SLC Valley locations are also good if you can find any snow to ride on. A good day to practice with a trainer kite in an open field or park.

Tomorrow - Strawberry is looking promising in the afternoon once the storm clears with wind in the low 20's, if not the fall back Park City should be good. Skyline will also have NW winds in the mid-teens.
