Where to Ride 2/25 Wednesday

The south wind freight train continues today. It is already blowing in the low 20's at PowMow today. The point forecast always seems to underestimate how hard it will blow at PowMow. Seems like the best bet is to add 10 mph on a SW forecast.

PowMow expect strong wind in the AM and gusty wind and snow squalls in the afternoon. Expect blown powder conditions.

Skyline should be good with wind in the mid to upper teens and some light snow squalls.

Park City will have wind in the mid teens today with some snow squalls in the afternoon.

The south looks strong enough to turn Strawberry on at the Marina, Ladders, and Cabins. However, as the storm arrives in the afternoon, I expect the wind to die off. So if you want it go in the AM.

Tomorrow looks like another south day with the wind a tad lighter than today.

Friday is shaping up to be a good day to ride Strawberry. Skyline and PowMow should also receive good west or NW wind.
