Where to Ride 2/27 1st day of SKM - Updated

As of 9:45 the wind at Strawberry is on at 22 gusting to 25 at Strawberry River. Still looks a bit socked in, but clearer than it was at 8. Skyline is also socked in and the meter is showing a SW wind of 10 gusting to 15. Skyline does not show a distinct north switch. It should have arrived. However, I have been to Skyline on days when a north shift was forecasted and the wind stayed west all day.

A cold front is passing over the Wasatch Front this evening bringing a bit of snow and NW winds

Strawberry looks good tomorrow with wind in the mid to upper twenties. Should be good in the afternoon under clearing skies. Expect an inch or two of snow over packed snow.

SKM - Skyline will also be good, wind looks stronger than Skyline and more gusty with the snow squalls lasting into the afternoon.

Pineview is no good on a north. May be a good day for Monte Cristo tomorrow and possibly Pineview as well.

Park City should give up rides with wind in the mid-teens.

High pressure builds on Saturday. Expect light wind in the low teens at Skyline and PowMow. Skyline may even give us some SE winds in the morning. Skies will be sunny.

Looks like the SW flow will return on Sunday taking the winds back up into the mid to upper teens or better at Skyline and PowMow.
