Kenny's Where to Ride 11/22

DC will happen today. However, it will be very cold with wind in the upper teens and gusty. Yesterday, I was reminded why I like snowkiting so much in late November. I wore a dry suit and my core stayed nice and warm, but it was difficult to keep my hands and feet warm even with thick neoprene booties. I am going to have to look into scuba Arctic gloves and booties if this dearth of snow continues.

Tomorrow there will be wind at Skyline, but not much coverage. The storm system over Skyline today promises to drop some snow, but it looks minimal. There is some snow on the ground, but it appears that it is just enough to make the ground look white, but not enough to cover up the rocks and dirt. If only we had some artificial snow-making equipment up there, we would be in business.

Tuesday is looking windless with high pressure building. There will be light wind at Skyline, but probably not enough snow for riding.
