12/9 Kenny's Where to Ride

Postby Kenny » Thu Dec 09, 2010 9:57 am

Today is looking good at Skyline and PowMow with wind in the mid to upper teens and possible snow flurries. Strawberry may also give up rides today with wind in the low teens, not sure about snow conditions there after this recent warmup, so if you go please let us know about the surface conditons on the flats and on the hills. Skyline and PowMow should still have superior snow conditions compared to Strawberry.

Friday a stronger snow system moves in. PowMow is likely to whiteout. Skyline will have reduced visibility and may whiteout. Strawberry will have wind in the low to mid teens and visibility may be an issue there as well.

Saturday the storm clears out and we get strong clearing winds at Skyline. Strawberry is looking promising as well.

Hey Kenny - enough snow in spots. Still plenty of sage. Didn't find much wind today.
