Hi Marty,

Thanks for posting the link and updating the wind. So is SE the preferred direction and SW is a no go? That's weird! :??

SE is my favorite direction, seems smoother,
SE is usually early, and as the day go on, S gets gustier,
and SW gets holey.

Just observations, not "rules"

as you can tell by yseterday, all "rules" went out the window....

Sorry about jumping in front of you yseterday,
kinda bone head move on my part.
Guess the hard crash and loss of my board,
was my kama payback....

No problem you had plenty of space. Crashing is part of the sport at my stage of the learning curve, you probably haven't had one in a while. By the way your new 9m Edge has plenty of range you were out in easy 30 plus conditions. I'll watch for more Willard wind and try to get there earlier in the day next time.

Cheers,
John

oh no,,, I had the hard crash after my bone head move,
I went so far down wind away from my board,
that the wind swell would have pushed me into the shore before i could have dragged back to my board,
Jason rescued my board, thanks Jason.

I didn't see you crash, it was probably my fault.

i had tried to get your board almost right away because i saw you were pretty far downwind, ended up almost getting pulled away from my board in the high winds and just said, F it. i did a couple of reaches and saw you were no closer so i gave it another go with better results.
