as per Homer Simpson, "ummm, creamy milk chocolate." surreal back lighting exaggerated the wave contours and silhouetted my translucent rig well ahead of me on the moving moguls during the inbound port reaches; sweet starboard ramps and gaps, occasionally clearing doubles on the out bound runs. not common for me here in zion. solid 5.4 until the alpenglow light edging up to the top of timp's fresh pink/white snow cap finally came to an end and it was clear things would darken rapidly. i was warmer getting out than getting in and walking through the waist deep reeds to the beach i saw more wildlife than you could shake a stick at.
ps watched the kites at SSB, bet that was good too.
