Strawbs Gravel Pit area Wed 3/8 9M, 12M

A day I will never forget.
Pulled into the parking lot behind Chasta.
He likes to say "follow me"
yea right....
9M kept me going for a little while.
I had to go back to get my 12M.
Had fun on the hills by the parking lot for awhile.
Then the Ozoners came back.
I followed Chasta, Brian, Rob, and his Girlfriend (Elsa?)
I started following Chasta on the banks of the Lake.
Then I just went on the lake to watch,
Following along behind.
This guy goes beyond any words I can come up with.
We came to a large hillside,
he flies off the top, gliding smoothly to the lake,
We could feel that he had found a "perfect spot"
We all stopped and just watched this incredible show.
Rob videoed, it will probably be on next years Ozone promo DVD
it was that spectacular.
They went further east(downwind)
I know my limitations,
and headed back upwind.
Satiated.

Marty,

I read Brian's report. Sounds like you made the right call turning around when you did

Chasta's riding just makes your mouth drop open in awe. Makes us mere mortals realize just how far we have to go or just how bad we suck, however you want to look at it. The guy rules the snow.
