Strawberry Mon 3/13 14M Foil

Postby whit » Mon Mar 13, 2006 8:27 pm

Excellent Day at Strawberry, Arrived at 12 noon wind meter was 10 to 14mph. Put up the 14M Foil, Kited at Co-op Creek for 2 hours. Went way up wind, up Co-op creek and way downwind toward the gravel pits. Snow was soft, 4" to 7" of fresh. Blue skies. Took a break and switched from the snowboard to the skis. Kited one more hour, then it seemed like it died. Left at 4PM. Mike C, Jenny, Tom, Mike H. were all having a good time. Didn't see Chasta or Brian and crew. A little different direction today for a clearing wind, mostly due west. One of my top 10 Strawberry days of the year!!
