Well, this is a back to earth post, from Maui, Margarita etc... ;)

Yuba is back! It is sooo cool to see Yuba full... Just indicates how much water we have around here lately... Just wish we could pump just a few 100 acre feet to rush! Josh S and I went to Yuba today... Talk about desperate... We got there at around 4PM and had a great session of gusty rides... Got in and out of the straps, the water was cold to say the least, but we had some great ripping planes... We launched from the boat launch actually and from the rocks to the west of the boat launch at the Oasis campground area.

The lake is so full... Brimming... And the melt hasn't really even started... They are actually letting water out to make room for the runoff... There is not room there right now for the sand people (Star Wars reference) yet.

I took a couple pictures of west beach and the bridge at the dam... I'll post the pics (cell phone pics)... Those trees that people try to be the first to get to are half burried under water. The water comes right up to the Oasis campground. Great launches everywhere.

PS Mike, I will delete these horrible pics in a couple days, I just wanted to show the water rise... How do I delete the pics???

PSS Yuba has the best wind phone line I've heard yet now... We've talked to them about it for some years now... Jot down this number 1-435-758-2683
