Skyline black friday gust bomb

Postby Chris G » Fri Nov 25, 2011 8:34 pm

Showed up around 1and waited while everyone decided whether or not to ride. Wind kept switching between N and NW and couldn't make up its mind on a speed. Peter rocked a 12 and had some good floats on the hill even though his kite looked like a jellyfish. When I decided to ride I pumped 7. Wind was crazy, snow has melted and blown away. I think I may wait for a storm before I go back.

Got there after 1pm wind was starting to pick up strong. Pumped up the 13 with James from New Orleans 1st time on snow and using some old ski's which after few trips out he came back pumped up his 10m and came right back to pump up 7. Gusts were huge but I switched to 7 and was well lit but kept it down. Newb friend Jeremy made one run inverted the7m and came back and packed it up...good to get out but too dicey with major wind gusts, low snow and the occasional rocks sticking you have to look out for. Let it snow…
