2/19 UDOT Field 12m, 14m

Got there about 2PM NW wind was good. Kited until 5PM. The 3" of fresh snow seemed to freshen it up pretty good and riding through the yellow weeds was fine. Funny how Ralph and I were just in Maui and then today we rode at the same time, kiting on snowboards on the snow. After awhile, I kited down the hill, dropped my kite and opened the metal gate to cruise out to the lower fields, Ralph followed shortly thereafter. We rode all over on the flats, but when it was time to go back through the gate it was quite difficult with the wind shadow. I dropped my kite again and it hit the barbed wire, oh well, a nice walk back to the truck. Ralph walked through the gate and then relaunched to kite back to the trucks. All in all a good, fun day at UDOT. Looks like there was wind at Strawberry and Skyline. How was it there?
