Got on the water a little before 7 and had a fantastic 2 hour sunset session, 2 other kiters out. Pavilion and grassy areas were full of bowfishers so I parked and rigged on the hard dirt beach. Lot's of spectators on the beach but not many boats in the water. Water is warming up, I was too warm in my 5/4 suit form most of my session but glad I had it on when the sun went down.

Excellent session. Rode 17m Zephyr the whole time. Enough wind for my twin tip at first (practiced my jumping). I then had to switch to race board to deal with the light wind later. Marc Hauver was there also. Congrats on the air Marc.

I showed up at 5:30pm hoping the carp shooting would be over. No other kiters around and wind was light but picked up and at 6ish Brad and Brian showed up and guy from WA who only had an 11m. 17m's were the ticket and Brian and Brad inspired me. Best day on water ever for me and finally left just before dark and those guys went back out on the big boards. Water is warming up nicely....
