Wind came up around 2 pm. Light (8.5ish) and steady by DC standards. With the 7.0 it was just easy cruising :)) until about 4:30 when I got some marginal planing rides. By 5 pm I was getting decent rides just as I needed to pull out. Empty beach. Only a few boats and jet skis in the area. I did need to yell (both on the water and later on the beach) at one idiot who cut me off (about 20 ft) with his mulit-million dollar boat.
