Surprise appearance of SW wind beginning about 10. Checked out Charleston Bridge, but with a somewhat more westerly direction than usual, the wind seemed to be having a hard time getting around the corner. Plus, the first reach out would have involved heading straight for the shallows at the North end of the lake. So, off to IB, where the wind did show more promise. By the time I got on the water at a little before noon, the wind was reasonably steady and strong enough that I was able to plane most of the time on a 7.0. George joined in a little later on his beautiful new 7.5.

The water level has dropped to the point that there is now a narrow "beach" below the rocks at IB and, in contrast to Charleston Bridge, there is little or no smelly green gunk in the water.

I think so, unless you're prepared to use a very short fin.
