Tues.9-17 Mona 5.9

They were calling for the same wind speeds @ Sulfur,Mona and Yuba,so I talked Pete into going to Mona instead of Deercreek.I got there at 10:30 and by 11:00 I was on the water with a 5,9 screaming back and forth in a nice, steady wind straight out of the south. The 5.9 was a bit O.Powered at times and made for some fast rides coming in(the water is down so that a spit of land sticks out and makes for some smooth water and fun fast hero jibes}.After about 1:30 the wind clocked around to the south west a bit and got a little gusty-holey. As of this A.M. they are predicting about the same for Saturday. Maybe see you there. Tom W.
