I don't know why I even ride today other than I was there and there was wind.

Todd and Jason K were out riding for sometime before I showed up with Karlene. I knew the water temperature is going to be cold. But the sub 50 degree air temp didn't help. Blowing at around 15 knots made the wind chill effect not too fun to play with. I rode for about an hour on the 9 meter. Pretty lit from the start. Todd was on a 10 and Jason on a 12. Karlene was on a 7. We all came in around 7.
I am ready for snow now!

There were also 3 people **trying** to set up a little bit away from us. Looked like a kite from somewhere around the year 2000. They spent an hour trying to untangle lines and rig. One guy was wearing a wetsuit, so I think he intended to just show up, launch the kite and figure it out. They didn't try to launch the kite while we were there, and we left just before dark. Leo spoke with them when we came in. Leo, what did they say?

Yeah, the guy is a student from Brazil studying at BYU and got some old equipments online and want to try to fly the kite. I basically talked him out of trying with that old kite because it is not safe. He told me he has a newer kite he ordered online and it will arrive soon. Hopefully he will value safety more than a few seconds of fun.
