Believe it or not this was probably the best day of the year so far. Winds were WSW and SW in the upper teens most of the day. I had my kite trim fully powered and it was still plenty of power for the fast surface that I was on. When I was here last on my 13m I was fully depowered in similar conditions. I like flying the small kite fast and hard more than way powered up on the big kite. The ridge tops are scoured and hard with shiny patches showing. However, there still are places where the snow is creamy and soft. Tomorrow might be another good day at Pow Mow.
