3/24 - 3/30 Cabarete

Good Week in Cabarete. Wind was rideable 5 days out of 7. The surf was huge for 2 days which turned the inside into super chop and the outside break was just silly with double overhead surf that was mostly closed out. A lot of guys got tumbled. After a couple sessons of getting hammered in the chop. I watched how the Dominican kids ride. They fly an oversize kite, keep it high and ride in the shore break. I decided to give it a try once the lessons had cleared out and found it to be a fun way to ride. Rode 10m FONE Bandit V three days, Rode 21 and 12M Flysurfer Speed 3 on the lighter days.

The yoga, food, and weather was also great. Can't wait to go back.
