Fall seems to have come early with cool temps and wind at DC. Not a huge amount of wind, but enough to put smiles on the faces of me and a moderately large group (flock, swarm?) of kiters. The cooler weather seems to have kept a lot of boaters away, a real plus.

It was one of the best day this year. Wind was good from 2:30 to about 4. I was out on a 15 and had to come in for a 12. I could have gone out on a 9..Couple of the gusts sent me straight down wind for about 50 yards!

By the time you stop planning, I knew it was over.

Agree with Leo... def a special day at the creek on 8/24. I started on a 14m x 143 TT and sized down to a 11m. Good crew out there boosting/taking laps... smiles/stokes all around.
