Mike E, Mike A, John, Patrick and Sarah showed up for some pretty strong winds for Grants with sails 4.8 to 6.0. Already strong when we got there but dropped pretty suddenly around 11:00. I stayed until it fired up around 3:00. Rigged a bigger sail, 7.0, and a bigger board to handle the occasional drop-off’s. By then the peak gusts were into the 30’s and I had some wild jibes on the east side with several intentional crashes to live for another day. Around 5:00 I could see the front coming around the north end of the Stansburies and I left in a hurry. It chased me all the way to my house. Great day.

Sailing both the Gorge and Utah on my 8'2" HiTech and my 3 Starboards; Sonic 85L, S-Type 115L, and Carve 135L. Small quiver is Northwave, larger sails are Ezzy and Sailworks. Often in my white Odyssey but also in my wife's motor home.
