Had a good morning at grants, with some of the regulars. It was really steady wind for the first couple of hrs. The 5.3 worked well, and the turns were happening. Then it cranked up a bit, so I rigged smaller. Not quite small enough. I was op'd especially on the far side, making for some rodeo type turns. Over all a great morning of sailing.

Definitely best big wind day of year. Used 4.2 from 1:00 to 4:00 and had a blast in spite of it being pretty up an down. East side too wild as I witnessed 2 self rescues from the far side.
