Wind came up a little before 10; very gusty initially. A bit more westerly than usual when I arrived the beach at about 11 and seemed to be building. By the time I was ready to hit the water, however, it was showing signs of backing off. Got a few planers, but spent most of my session slogging. But with the weather as hot as it's been, any wind at all is a bonus.
