After 2 skunks and 2 weeks of no sailing it was about time. Mike E and I showed up about 8:00 to what looked like 6.0 winds and nearest wind meter at Deseret confirmed. But by the time we got rigged an ugly cloud had moved in to interfere with the wind and I only got one small planer. Jumped up to 7.0 and then to the 135L board and finally started planing. Within ½ hour the cloud was gone and managed to get back on 112L for some great rides. Mike never quite got his 5.2 to work. Finally quit about 11:30 when another threatening cloud moved in and shut everything down. Great to be on the water again.
