I was having one of those days. I got to the lake to find perfect 7.0 winds then realized I left my 7.0 at home. After deliberating I decided to rig a 5.7 and maybe get a couple planers. It just didn't feel right. The mast joint wasn't together, I had to re-do that. The boom was too long. I had to jury rig a broken up haul. I stepped into the wrong leg loop of my harness, got tangled and almost fell over. BUT, the wind picked up when I went out and I had two decent sessions of 5.7. There was a big lull when Carl showed up but he rigged up and as he was walking towards the water the wind turned on like a switch. I think it was his day.
