Met Sarah at Charleston at 11 a.m. and saw it whitecapping at Island Beach. Rigged at IB to have the wind die down. Had a couple of rides, but it was total slogging most of the time. Left a 2pm to a squall that lasted about 10 minutes. Checked out Sailboat Beach to find Mike E and Dave P. rigging a 9.0 and 8.5. I'm sure it was too big and too small, but it made me wish we had gone to SB first. (Actually an early morning a Grantsville looked like the call) Used a wetsuit, good booties, hood and gloves and was surpirsed it wasn't colder. I'm certain it was plenty cold but not too bad with the right stuff.---Good to see Sarah and get wet--TS
