The wind built gradually beginning at about 12:30; by the time I got to the Charleston Bridge launch, a few whitecaps were starting to appear, but it was still definitely big gear conditions. With power from an 8.5, my ProKids Formula got easier and easier to keep on a plane as the windspeed continued to increase, peaking at about 20 mph around 2:30, after which it began tapering off before again building to a peak in the low 20s at a little after 4. Shortly thereafter I left, missing a third peak at 5:30.
