Wind was lighter than the Penny's reading, but smoother with less west cant than we have seen some days. I was surprised to see Jeremy back on the water. It has been a couple years since I last saw him. True to form he was wearing a rash guard and came in shivering to the beach. Billy was back on the water. Mike M. was getting some good rides. Jason, Ryan and Stokes all rigged up and rode as well. The wind started getting light around 7:30. I loaned my SilverArrow to Ryan. He was getting nice floating front and back rolls. He then dropped the kite on the opposite side of the lake. I wish I had told him how to relaunch the kite. I ended up walking to the other side. We relaunched the kite, Ryan walked back. Got some nice reaches in the moon light before it glassed out. All in all a very nice evening at Rush.

I agree. What a great evening at Rush. Thanks to Kenny for letting me use his glide. Mine should come anyday. Ryan and I were watching Kenny ride upwind and jump and there was absolutely no wind on the beach. It was beautiful. Full moon, birds singing, and frogs croaking. His kite with a glide is the ultimate in light wind performance. We rode down to the south end to enjoy the butter. Light, but smooth wind. Last weekend drysuit. This weekend swimsuit. Board shorts and a 1mm top sunday and monday. Yipee. You windsurfers don't know what you're missing. That means you Carl. Kiting gets me on the water way more than when I was only windsurfing. You just gotta try it. The feeling is beyond words. BTW- there was a new guy trying to kite with a Best kite who hadn't even flown a trainer yet. Get some lessons dude.
