DC delivered another afternoon of sailing for Grant Jr and me although this one was a close call. Building thunderheads down Provo Canyon and south of the reservoir provided the punch to get the wind machine going for some great planers for about an hour. Lighting chased us off the water around 4:30. One other sailor (Phil) out sailing with us was getting good rides on a 6.5, Jr. was on a 7.7, and I was hanging on to an 8.5 for some white knuckle speed runs.
