My wife had to call me and tell me the wind was blowing as I didn’t see any predictions that had me watching. With Bluffdale and Pioneer Crossing at 20 I expected more wind. Still, once I switched to the 9.0 it was 100% planning. It was an easier launch as I was able to walk quite a way out on sand instead of fighting through the reeds. The flip side to that is if it gets much lower we could be up to our ankles in mud like when we 1st started using this site. Grass rigging, flush toilets, what a great site. Ending the sesh standing under a shower was a great plus. Except for the mucky air it was a gorgeous evening to be sailing.

Sailing both the Gorge and Utah on my 8'2" HiTech and my 3 Starboards; Sonic 85L, S-Type 115L, and Carve 135L. Small quiver is Northwave, larger sails are Ezzy and Sailworks. Often in my white Odyssey but also in my wife's motor home.
